Will my period make a difference to my weigh-in?

I have stuck to the diet and done more exercise than it says, and I only lost 0.4. I'm really disappointed. I am due to come on my period any day now; will this make a difference to the weigh in?

It is very common for the body to store excess water before your period. This is mainly due to hormonal changes that are taking place in your body at this time. So, I wouldn?t be surprised if you found that you lost a little more weight once your period has started. You will probably find that you lose a couple of inches too, as any bloating subsides.

Willpower also seems to disappear at this time of the month as well, so it can be a difficult time for a lot of ladies. The important thing is to remain focused on your diet and continue with your exercise regime in the knowledge that this time will soon pass. Exercise, in particular, can be a good distraction from any sugar cravings you may get and can also make you feel more in control of your diet.
