Hi, I make plain yogurt at home using semi-skimmed milk. How would I work out the the calories and fat per 100g?. On the website I can only find whole milk plain yogurt and low fat plain yogurt. Would the calories and fat be the same as in the milk?
This feature is not just for popular meal combinations, but anything you eat regularly that combines a number of ingredients. Once you have set up your recipe, it makes it very quick and easy to add a serving of it to your food diary in future.
To do this, click on the 'My Meal's tab and then on the 'Create New Meal / Recipe' button. Enter the description and number of servings it makes, then start searching for and adding the individual ingredients in the exactly the same way as you add items to your food diary.
'My Meals' will then calculate the number of calories in the whole recipe and also per serving. If you want to see what the effect would be of eating a slightly smaller portion (e.g. making the dish serve 6 instead of 4 - an easy way to save a few cals!) you can go back and change the serving size and it re-calcualates it for you.
I hope this helps!
