Hi I have some exercise equipment at home that I use regularly - bike, cross trainer and stepper. I also have a pilates ring and have just treated myself to a Total Core machine which is supposed to help me do the perfect sit up. I was hoping you may be able to suggest some tummy exercises as I would really like to try and tone up. Thank You Sal x

If you choose the article titled 'core exercises' you will find the teaching points and pictures for the 'drawing in maneuvre' and the 'opposite arm and leg crunches'. These two exercises, together with sit ups using your total core machine would make an excellent abdominal circuit for targeting all the areas that make up our stomach muscles (or 'core').
