Q.

Whats the best way to divide your calories during the day?

I joined a week ago and even if I haven't (officially) gone on the scale yet I know it is working for me to calculate (helps me to be careful to what I eat).
I was just wondering if there was a best way to divide your allowed calories during the day.

I know it is not good but I don't have time to take breakfast in the morning (1 coffee and 1 cappucino before work is the best I do). I am French and normally lunch is a big meal for us, but now I am so careful with the number of calories I use that I am starving at dinner time and I am left with more than half of my daily allowance (which means that I double the portion in the evenings which I know is not the best)

There?s no right or wrong way to divide your calories over the day, and if your current pattern works for you then I see no real reason to change, except for one thing which would be having a healthy mid morning snack if you don?t have breakfast earlier. It?s quite common for users of this site to save around half of their calories for the evening, and you shouldn?t need to worry about that unless you are forcing yourself to eat when you don?t really want to (which would be a waste!)
