Should I recalculate what calories I should be eating as my weight drops? I'm still eating the same cals as I was when I weighed 15lbs more - I think I should be eating less - maybe not many, but still less!
We usually say to members to go back to their Personal Profile and update their start weight when they reach a 10 per cent weight loss milestone (for example you now weigh 9 stone having started out at 10 stone). This may have the effect of reducing down your calorie target a little, but generally it isn't by much, especially if you are already on 1400 cals / day. Obviously someone who is heavier and starting with a higher daily cal target may see a bigger drop as they lose weight. But you shouldn't be tempted to go back and keep changing it every week. Only when you reach a 10 per cent or 1 stone milestone. Hope this helps!
