Have I got my equation right to lose weight?

Hi,
I have 4-5lbs to lose. Nutracheck suggests that I need to burn 301calories in excercise. But the most I manage in exercise is 150 cals. My food allowance is 1400 cals. Am I right in thinking that if saved 200cals from my food and exercised for 150cals, then I will still lose weight. I am at my last stage of weight loss, but it is the hardest. Also I have recently bought a pedometer. If I wear it all day, should I enter the calories burned in the exercise section, or is that purely for workouts and extra activity to your normal lifestyle. I will be grateful for any suggestions.
