Q.

I'm worried I'll have to keep increasing my exercise - help!

When on a diet kick, I like to exercise everyday as I get addicted to it. If I'm not on a diet I barely do anything at all and my job is office-based.

I am wanting to move into a permanent healthy lifestyle rather than the yo-yoing I've been doing. I have over seven stone to lose and am worried that if I exercise everyday, within three months I will have worked my way up to two hours exercise per day in addition to normal household tasks etc.

I hear that if I reach a plateau I will need to 'up' the exercise, well, I can't exercise for more than two hours a day due to work commitments and do not want to feel like I spend my life exercising just to maintain weight (if and when I get to goal weight).

I really don't want to think that I should cut back on exercise now just incase I reach a plateau so that I can then increase it. . . . can you help me with this, please?
