Has my body got used to a drop in calories?

I am a little down hearted at not losing a thing this week. I tend to eat just under my 1,400 calories and over the last 2 weeks have lost 4lbs. I feel as though that's it now - like my body wants to stay here and it is used to the drop in calories. What should I do??

Hi, I checked back and you left your question after just three weeks. Will you be offended if I suggest that you may be just expecting a little bit too much too soon? We all lose weight at different rates, and sometimes we level out for a while, but I can safely say that after just three weeks you will have not yet reached a plateau of any length or significance. More likely you are just battling the effects of time of the month, natural fluctations that occur through differences in what’s in your digestive system (sorry if that seems gross), and so on! The important thing is to try to stay patient, hard I know and I’m not blaming you for wanting fast and consistent results, but unfortunately it just doesn't always happen like that when it comes to our individual biology. Hang on in there and don’t change anything just yet and I’m sure you will be okay!
