Shrinking boobs! Please help!
Hi, Unfortunately, the first thing to go with any weight loss for me is
my bust. Can you recommend any exercises that might keep some of the
mass in this area? Thank you!

Hi,
The thing about breast tissue is that it is mostly composed of adipose(fat) tissue which like any other stores on the body, will be utilisedand reduce when you achieve a daily calorie-deficit with a weight lossplan. It is important to consider that the effects of fat loss from thechest area are accentuated with fast weight loss (negatively-fast i.e.yo-yo diets!) as well as exercise that mainly consists of aerobicexercise and little strength training.
You should consider strengthening the chest muscles behind the breasts(through press ups or chest press machine exercises for example), asthis maintains an even loss of fat tissue from the chest area and helpskeep the shape and size of the breasts. Unfortunately, with fat loss itis inevitable that fat will be taken from this area, although to varyingdegrees as every individual is genetically predisposed differently.
Any loss of size from your chest may seem/feel drastic to start withbut it won’t really continue as long as you include strengthtraining i.e. chest press machine exercises, press-up type movementsetc. I strongly suggest if you don’t already, that you look toinclude a strength training program that takes a whole body approach andtargets all the muscles in the body as this will ensure symmetry, prevent muscle imbalances and injury and help burn body fat long-term.
Hope this helps
